Women’s T20 World Cup Shifted to UAE – ICC Announces

The ICC has officially announced that the Women’s T20 World Cup series will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the Women’s T20 World Cup cricket series will be held in Bangladesh from October 3 to 20. However, due to the extraordinary situation prevailing in Bangladesh, the ICC planned to shift the T20 World Cup series to another venue.

After this, the ICC requested to host the T20 World Cup series in India. But BCCI has refused to hold it in India. BCCI Secretary Jaisha announced that it has been decided not to hold the match due to the rainy season.

Subsequently, there were reports that the World Cup series could be held in one of the three places of UAE (United Arab Emirates), Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

In this situation, the ICC has officially announced that the Women’s T20 World Cup series will be held in the United Arab Emirates. It has been announced that the matches will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from October 3 to 20.
