Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants expressed their anger over the pitch of the field at the beginning of the season. Both parties complain that they are not getting home-field facilities. In this situation, the Indian Cricket Board has opened the pitch. They advised the parties. According to the board, the parties should talk to the pitch makers well before the start of the season. This kind of complaint should not be made during the season.

A board official said, “Every field pitch is still good. The parties can ask for a pitch according to their strength at home. But it should be discussed between the party and the pitch maker. And it should be before the start of the season. This kind of complaint is not true after the start of the IPL.”

The board’s opinion also expressed the opinion of Lucknow’s pitch. He said, “The character of Lucknow’s pitch is slow. According to the BCCI’s instructions, the grass has to be kept on the pitch. So that the pitch is good throughout the competition. The pitch has been made in the same process in the rest of the field. Where is the difficulty?”

After losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru at home, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajink Rahane appealed that there should be more spin -helpful wickets in Eden. But the petitioner was rejected by Eden’s pitch maker Sujan Mukherjee. Later, Lucknow’s mentor Zahir Khan alleged that the bowlers of Punjab got more benefits in the pitch against Punjab in their home ground. It looks like Punjab’s pitch maker has made the pitch. Delhi Capitals is also unhappy with the pitch of Visakhapatnam. As a result, the controversy is increasing.

According to the directive of the board, no team or cricketer can say what kind of pitch will be in the IPL. The manufacturer will make the pitch in balance between batting and bowling. But even then, the pitch was made according to the convenience of the house team in different fields. That picture was seen in Chennai. That is why Rahane or Zahir complained. But in the words of the board official, now the pitch may not change.
